Race Course

We will begin at Midway Elementary School, head east on Midway Road, and then turn right onto Columbus in the middle of the first downhill. Continuing down the hill and a few blocks to the “T” in Road at Huron, we will turn left on Huron and wind around Blackhawk, and then continue to the 4-way stop at Glencrest/Edencrest.  We turn left there heading south on Edencrest, then take the first right onto Eastview Drive heading a couple of blocks, then turn right onto Gleneden in front of the “Frog Church” (a.k.a. Covenant United Methodist Church).  At the church we turn left, continuing on Gleneden north until it becomes Huron again. At Columbus we turn left, then left again on Country Hill and zigzag up the hill right on Morton, left on Tudor, right on Nevada, left on Wellington, and right on Hamilton, and cross Midway Rd. to finish at Midway Elementary School!

Please note: Animals/pets and headphones are not allowed at the race.  Service dogs are allowed.  Strollers are allowed, but will need to start towards the back of the group, behind the runners and walkers to ensure the safety of all participants.  Parents with infants/toddlers in a stroller are not required to register your child(ren) separately.  You will sign a waiver upon registration which also includes your child(ren) for the event.  

Awards will be given to the top three runners for each male and female immediately after the race.  If you run super fast (15-25 minutes), please stick around to get your medal!!

Parking: Please park in the Midway parking lot, or on the residential streets north or west of Midway Elementary School, but NOT ON HAMILTON directly across the street from Midway, and NOT ON WELLINGTON DR BETWEEN NEVADA AND HAMILTON.

Dress warmly! It is usually very chilly on Thanksgiving morning! Wear your favorite NFL team colors or a turkey costume!
